🎼 How to Use It
- Print on cardstock, laminate, and cut along the dotted lines
- Arrange the large cards in a row on a mat, then offer the miniatures face down in a small basket
- Set a magnifying glass sized for small hands on the tray beside the cards
- Invite the child to lift one miniature, study it, and lay it beneath its match
- Extend the work by sorting the pairs into instrument families, or into the ones you blow, strike, and pluck
🎓 Teaching Tip
Once a child can match all fifteen, play a short recording of a single instrument while the cards are still laid out and let them point to the one they hear. Matching the picture is visual work. Matching the sound to the picture turns it into music education, and children usually ask to repeat that version far more often.
